Never Stop Exploring Tour with TNF Athlete Caite Zeliff (Saturday 2/10)

Are you getting into the backcountry and want to share your passion with the pros? Join The North Face athlete Caite Zeliff, back in her hometown, for a backcountry tour!

Caite Zeliff won her first competition in 2015—The North Face Frontier, a Freeride World Tour (FWT) qualifying event. With the guts for big cliffs and the talent to land them, she hit her stride in big-mountain competitions, competing on the Freeride World Qualifying Tour for TK years. She’s now filmed with Teton Gravity Research in addition to Warren Miller.

This course will explore low-angle areas and introduce you to backcountry skiing in a fun environment.

This course will not require a beacon, probe, and shovel.

Ability Level

While this is an intro backcountry course, it's not an introduction to skiing/snowboarding. Participants looking to take this course should have previous resort skiing/riding experience and feel comfortable on blue squares in the Northeast. You should feel comfortable being outside in the mountains for 6+ hours with enough physical ability to travel uphill with a pack for 2-3 miles (with enough energy left for downhill travel).

Prerequisites

Comfortable skiing/riding blue squares in varying conditions at the resorts.
