After trips kept him away the last couple years, we've managed to keep The North Face athlete Mark Synnott in NH for the March 13-15, 2020 Mt Washington Backcountry Ski Festival. Mark will be giving the opening presentation on Friday, March 13th at Theater in the Wood! Mark's presentation is titled "Granite to Grand: Ski Mountaineering from the Granite State to the Grand Teton."

Mark Synnott's early days on skis were spent on the Wildcat Mountain Ski Team. He eventually made the trip across the street to the storied ravines of Mount Washington and terrain in the surrounding White Mountains, where he cut his teeth as a ski mountaineer. Join Mark to hear about descents in the Granite State, Canada, Russia, and an attempt on a coveted traverse in the Tetons.

To see Mark's presentation, you can register for a guided backcountry course, get the Weekend Pass, or just purchase a ticket for the Friday evening events (online or at the door): www.skimtwashington.com/registration/
