After growing up ski racing at Pat’s Peak in New Hampshire, Ben moved to Colorado then Utah after college, competing in big mountain competitions and shooting with legendary Alta photographer Lee Cohen.  After returning east for law school in 2008, Ben featured in a half dozen East Coast ski films by Meathead Films, including in a segment from No Matter What that won Best Powder at the 2013 Powder Video Awards in Park City, Utah (beating out segments from TGR and Matchstick Productions). Since then, Ben created the Ski the East web series “Working for the Weekend,” and produced three seasons of videos covering backcountry skiing in the Northeast.  Ben now resides in Colorado, where he continues to explore new backcountry zones throughout the west. Over the years, photos of Ben have appeared in Powder, Freeskiing, Skiing, Ski, Outside, The Ski Journal, and Backcountry magazines.
