Demos & Rentals at the Mt Washington Backcountry Ski Festival

There will be backcountry equipment available for demo and rental at the festival, but it's "first come first served" and subject to availability. Certain sizes and types of gear are limited. Unless noted otherwise in course descriptions, having the appropriate gear is the responsibility of the participant.

On Site Demos

The following sponsors/vendors will have backcountry equipment available for demo at the festival. Demo gear is available to participants who register at the Weekend Pass level or above.

The North Face

The following demo alpine touring (AT) set ups with accompanying skins and poles:

  • Black Crow Cammox Freebird 96 skis with Dynafit FT Speed Rotation bindings (6 pairs of varying lengths)
  • G3 ROAMr 100 Elle and ROAMr 100 skis with G3 Ion bindings (5 pairs of varying lengths)
  • Salomon QST 106 and Stella 106 skis with G3 Ion bindings (3 pairs of varying lengths)
